National NAACP Leader visits Colorado Springs to urge action in wake of bombing attempt

Just weeks after a makeshift bomb exploded outside the NAACP offices in Colorado Springs, the national leader of the organization came to the city to call for persistence in the face of injustice.

Cornell William Brooks, president and CEO of the national branch of the NAACP, passionately told hundreds of people at a regional conference not to “give up” and urged action on current issues.
